- PERFORMANCE The cornerstone of the GranVille luminaire’s superior performanceis an advanced borosilicate glass optical refractor, which providesprecise light control through finely molded prisms. The prismaticrefractor helps direct the light beam to the desired pattern, allows for maximum spacing with excellent uniformity, minimizes wastedlight, and creates an appealing sparkle that distinguishes theGranVille Series luminaires from conventional plastic acorn globes.
- FUNCTIONALITY Efficient light control has been the cornerstone of the GranVille Classic prismatic glass refractor. The GranVille Premier takes optical performance to a new level by incorporating an integral ISDSuperGlass® reflector improving the downward lighting componentwhich increases the amount of light on the roadway, maximizing polespacing and reducing the cost of ownership for the system.
The GranVille Series is designed to offer flexibility in the design process. Multiple styles of housings, trim options, and optical choicesare provided to meet both the aesthetic and mechanical requirementsof today’s lighting system. Many of our electrical housings incorporatetool-less entry, integral terminal blocks, ease of relamping, as well asan integral photocontrol all designed to simplify installation andmaintenance of the lighting system.
- OPTICS Heat resistant borosilicate glass reflectors and refractors, that are designed to minimize glare and provide precise light control for high efficiency and maximumpole spacing. The GranVille Series will accept high pressure sodium, metal halide,compact fluorescent, incandescent or select induction light sources.
- ELECTRICAL HOUSING The GranVille series glass globes are mated with high quality electrical housings which are constructed of aluminum housings, corrosion resistant hardware, and premium gasketing to ensureyears of continuous maintenance free service.
